Eva Blaya is the CFO of BBVA in Switzerland. She began her career at Ernst & Young, auditing the banking sector and working on risk management consulting projects. After three years, she joined BBVA in Switzerland in 2008 as a risk analyst. Following four years in credit and market risk analysis, she led Financial Planning and MIS for 11 years until October 2023, when she was appointed CFO. She holds a degree in Business Administration( University of Barcelona) and a postgraduate degree in Financial Risk. Passionate about finance, she holds ESG, cryptocurrency, and blockchain certifications from CFA, Berkeley, and MIT, and completed BBVA’ s Corporate Management Program at IESE.
