After numerous years of growth , the company went public in 2018 , listing on the Euronext exchange . In the same year , the company signed a deal with eBay to gradually become the primary processor of payments for the company . CEO and co-founder Pieter van der Does studied economics at the University of Amsterdam , and in June 2018 his 4.8 % stake in the company was valued at $ 800mn .
