EYNOD
Restoring independence through card-based disbursements Eynod made the deliberate decision to introduce card-based disbursements as a primary capability. While ACH retains a role within the platform for specific fund movements, cards offer an immediate transactional record, granular spend controls and a vastly superior user experience.
Crucially, this shift directly addresses the personal dignity of the individuals receiving support. Many beneficiaries, including elderly individuals or those with specific disabilities, retain the faculties to manage small daily purchases but are restricted by systemic inefficiencies.
” People want to feel independent,” Isaac says.“ They want to be able to say,‘ I pay my utilities.’ Even if they’ re now under the management of a programme or a facility that requires an administrator on their funds, that’ s okay. But with the right controls, there are two things.”
He continues:“ One, you can give them their dignity back and they can continue to pay their bills the way they’ ve always done it, with your oversight and control on the card. And number two, from an operational perspective, you eliminate all the need for constant bills coming in, bills being paid, making sure they’ re being reconciled.
