HSBC UK has appointed Tom Wood as its new Head of Business Banking following a competitive recruitment process . Tom brings more than 20 years of financial services experience , including a decade in senior roles at HSBC UK . He will transition from his current position as Head of Global Payments Solutions ( GPS ) to succeed Martin Hanson , who served as Interim Head for two months . Tom began his new role on November 1 .
