Volt , the global real-time payments platform , has appointed Irina Chuchkina as its very first CMO . She joins during a significant period of growth for Volt , which secured US $ 60 million in Series B funding in June 2023 , and takes responsibility for the global marketing strategy and building on Volt ’ s ambitious expansion plans .
Chuchkina brings almost 20 years worth of experience in the payments space across Europe and Asia . Most recently , she served as CMO at Thunes , the Singapore-based payment infrastructure platform , where she led on global marketing strategy .
William Moroney has been promoted to President – International at Temenos .
Having previously served as MD for the Middle East and Africa , Moroney ’ s remit has been expanded to include Europe and the Asia Pacific . When combined , these regions represent 57 % of the company ’ s total revenue . Moroney has more than 25 years of sales experience and leadership under his belt and joined Temenos in 2020 . He previously held senior positions at a number of international banking , technology and outsourcing companies , including Misys , Hewlett Packard and Transguard Group .
