Colin Bell has swapped the corridors of HSBC for the challenger bank world, joining Starling Group as Chair of both its holding company and banking boards from 1 July 2026. He succeeds David Sproul, who spent five years steering the digital bank through a period of significant growth. Colin also spent 16 years in the British Army before banking.
