Fintech is skyrocketing in Asia

According to the latest reports , Asia is emerging as a hotspot for fintech innovation across all major areas including payments , lending , insurance and investing .
The uptake of fintech was already rising before the pandemic , but the move to digital channels has accelerated the adoption of digital financial services .
Data in the eConomy Southeast Asia Report 2021 , produced by Google , Temasek and Bain & Company , reveals that digital financial services usage has increased between 2020 and 2021 , with a CAGR from 9 % up to 48 %.
