HM TREASURY PARTNERS WITH US TREASURY FOR TRANSATLANTIC TASKFORCE FOR MARKETS OF THE FUTURE

The UK and US have established a Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future to collaborate on digital assets and capital markets. Led by UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, the taskforce includes industry partners like Coinbase, Ripple and Circle. It aims to enhance cross-border financial innovation, improve competition and address challenges in raising funds across borders. The taskforce will report its findings and recommendations within 180 days to both governments.
