Citigroup has appointed James Morris as its Head of Commercial Bank UK . He will start at the end of the month , September 30 , after leaving his 25-year career at Barclays where he most recently served as UK Head of Business and Professional Services for large corporate banking .

In his role , he will report to Head of Citi Commercial Bank , Tasnim Ghiawadwala , and the division ’ s UK banking head , Tiina Lee .

The appointment comes as part of Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser ’ s turnaround plan , as the bank seeks to boost its profits .
