Claire Calmejane started her career in 2006 with Capgemini Consulting ' s Technology Transformation division , where she assisted businesses – particularly financial institutions – in transforming into digital and technologically-advanced organisations .

She joined the London office of Capgemini in 2011 after contributing to a study on the digital transformation of large firms run by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , where she was responsible for leading the digital centre for the financial services industry . In 2012 , she was hired by Lloyds Banking Group to serve as the department ' s head of digital delivery .
