Kim – a strategic financial leader with a track record of providing tech solutions that lead to improved outcomes and business change – has vast experience successfully creating , overseeing , and implementing complex IT portfolio roadmaps for CRM , ERP , and BI applications , as well as extensive knowledge of building and managing high-performance teams .

Milkah began her career as an auditor at renowned international company Deloitte , where she worked on numerous projects across a variety of industries , sharpening her growing financial skills . Thereafter , she joined Cellulant to realise the bold ambition of creating a US $ 1bn tech company in Africa , run by and for Africans . Previously Cellulant ’ s CFO , Wachiuri is now Chief Growth Officer .

During her tenure at the company , she established the group finance department , expanding the team of experts from 4 to 40 while also overseeing the creation of a functional reporting and budgeting framework . She later attained the position of group CFO and group finance manager , respectively .

She is currently the CIO at Navan where she is responsible for overseeing business technology , data , security , and IT services functions . Kim obtained a BA in Finance & Business Economics at the University of Southern California along with a master ’ s in International Business at Thunderbird School of Global Management .
